Today’s game featured 2 of the best Quarterbacks to ever play the game facing off – Tom Brady & Matt Ryan.

On paper it seemed even across the board:

-Both are 6 foot 4 inches
-Both are slightly over 200 lbs.
-Both are the Top 2 in QBR (Quarterback Rating)
-Both are the Top 2 in Passing Rating
-Both trained at the same “exclusive” QB pre-season boot camp in LA
-Heck, even one got drafted because the coach at the time thought they had similar attributes (Ryan reminded ATL coach of Brady)

Most people would focus on age at this point.

Ryan is almost a full DECADE younger than Brady.

Most people were counting Brady out.

Not so fast.

One recent interview I read right before the game changed my whole viewpoint, here’s the quote:

“80 percent … vegetables … and whole grains: brown rice, quinoa, millet, beans. The other 20 percent is lean meats: grass-fed organic steak, duck every now and then, and chicken.”

That’s Tom Brady’s, the love-him-or-hate-him quarterback of the New England Patriots, diet according to his personal chef.

This diet focuses on one key element, an element that Brady himself attributes to making him possibly the greatest QB of all time (especially after the win today).

That key is inflammation.

Brady avoids it at ALL COSTS to keep his body in an alkaline (non-acidic) state – while monitoring his blood for inflammatory markers.

Ryan himself has held up Brady as the example of longevity stating in a recent conversation: “[Brady] has set the bar for longevity – aging well and playing at a really high level for a really long time.”

So with that said (and as a closet Dolphins fan, this really pains me), here’s why Tom Brady is now the G.O.A.T QB to ever play in the NFL.
The true source of the Pats win wasn’t a need to seek revenge for DeflateGate, coaching, draft picks or even skillset.

It’s fairly obvious the Patriots won based on Tom Brady’s diet alone and his focus on preventing Inflammation to preserve a resilient legacy.

Listen to the man himself in regards to his regimen – “I feel like that’s really where my edge is.”

Tom Brady just gets it.
Be sure your bloodwork has been CHEKD, in case you need to win in overtime.
